Today, "verified" means **Basic Verification**: email confirmation, profile completeness, and manual review by our team. It does **not** currently mean government ID verification, employment/credential verification, or a background check. We're transparent about this because trust claims matter — we'd rather under-promise here than let "verified" mean less than it sounds like.
